I have been MIA again for the nth  time.. been so busy with work lately due to Quarter End Reviews and Visitors that I go home super exhausted.. not wanting to do anything but just eat, watch torrents and sleep. Too busy that I dont even have the energy to comment on your posts.. though i do read every single one of your posts religiously, thanks to Google Reader.

I do create drafts since I try to take pictures of food places and hauls. I just havent had time to actually write something.

I’ve been seeing this tag from my favorite beauty bloggers (yes i consider you guys as the real deal when it comes to honest to goodness reviews, unlike some pro dudes that turns reviews in to advertorials) – see i told u i read your blogs.. hehe

Anyway, here goes my answers to 40 Questions

SKINCARE

How many times do you wash your face daily?

Twice a day.
- once when i wake up to prep for work and once when i get home from work to remove my makeup.

What skin type do you have?

I have oily skin on the face and uber dry on the bod.

What is your current facial wash?

Purity Made Simple by Philosophy.
- yup, it has been my HG (and lifesaver) since my review last year. Every time i try a different facial wash, i get breakouts so i just ended up going back to this one.

Do you exfoliate?

For the face. I would want to but the only product that did work wonders for me was discontinued and I am out already. huhuhu . The other ones i have tried either gave me bumps after or dries out my skin.

What brand do you use?

Human Nature Brown Rice Scrub

What moisturizer do you use?

Hope in a Jar by Philosophy
- it works for me but i only use it as a night cream coz it’s a lil on the heavy side for daytime use.

Do you have freckles?

Nope. I think I am too morena for it to show if I do have some.

Do you use eye cream?

I do but haven’t found one that makes me happy.

Do you or did you have acne prone skin?

I just get occasional zits. My skin is just very sensitive but not acne prone though. Even when I was in High school, my major problems then was visible pores and uneven skintone but not really pimples.

Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?

Nope.

MAKE-UP

What foundation do you use?

Depends on the mood.
For good skin days, I use Monave Concealer Foundation in Mirabella
For days that I need more coverage, I use MAC StudioFix Fluid in NC37
For days that I know I’ll get photographed (hehe.. like dinner/lunch outs or events), I use MUFE Mat Velvet –> super photogenic in my opinion. :)

How about concealer?

MAC StudioFinish concealer in NW30 for the undereyes. For the blemishes, the foundation I use already covers it.. 

Do you know your undertone color?

Yup. I have yellow undertones

What do you think of fake eyelashes?

Something I have lots of but dunno how to use.. hehe

Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months?

Yup.

What brand of mascara do you use?

Some Fiberwig Mascara I got from HongKong.
- it’s my HG. No racoon eyes even if I sweat. loves it. This is the reason why I havent been tempted to buy the newest mascaras that a lot of people are raving about. I already found one that works..

Do you have a MAC Pro-card?

Nope

What makeup tools do you use in make up application?

Brushes/Beauty blender

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?

Yup. It’s a must coz I have oily lids.

For the face?

Yup. Cant do without it else I feel naked.. hehe

What is your favorite eyeshadow ?

MAC Samoa Silk and Expensive Pink

Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?

Gel liners only. Pencil and Liquid eyeliners I have tried smudges on me. Making me look like a zombie.

How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?

Very rarely since I don’t use it often.

What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?

I think it’ll be too messy for a clumsy girl like me. but if i do have one, I’ll probably end up pressing it.. haha

Do you use mineral makeup?

Yup

MAC Strawbaby
- my true MBLB shade

How about lipgloss?

MAC Plushglass in Full for You
- i love the oomph it gives my lips. plus i can wear this on it’s own and still look nice.. :)

What is your favorite blush to use?

NARS Gilda

Do you buy your makeup on ebay?

Haven’t tried coz I dont have a CC

Do you like drugstore makeup?

They’re special in their own way. :)

Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets)

I would be going there every payday if we have one here in Manila .. hehehe

Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?

Nope.
- Because if i do then that means I would  have to take doing makeup gigs seriously so i can get an ROI. That takes the fun out of it for me. As y’all know I don’t like being compelled to do stuff..

Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?

Sometimes.

Name a makeup crime that you hate?

Using a lighter foundie, resulting to diff neck and face color

Do you like colorful shades of makeup

I like doing it on other people but not on myself. I just can’t pull off colorful makeup. I think I'll look like a drag queen harhar!

I think I can. But I wont be happy..

i think I look ok.. the prince says he likes me better without but i think he’s just biased.. hahaha

NARS for blushes and MAC for everything else

Makeup is a very powerful tool that can boost one’s confidence, make or break one’s look and that every woman should have in their arsenal.. hehe
